Just So You Know

For years the human has controlled Mother Earth. It wasn't bad at first, much like the Reign of Dinosaurs and the Age of Mammals. But then they got greedy and began wanting more than they were allowed to have. As they continued to breed, the Earth got crowded, and we were shoved away. We are killed mercilessly, and some of our cousins went away forever, never to be seen again. We are dying before our time, and so is our home. The earth is crumbling beneath our feet, the waters threatening to flood what land there is, and the people keep coming. They are overpopulated by far, and still do not stop. Their contraptions pollute our air, what we need to live. They pollute the waters, another source of life. They tear up the ground and rip out the trees, leaving nothing to regrow. Their transportation knocks us aside with ease if we dare cross their paths. Very few survive. Some have been forced to attack the human for food because theirs is gone, man's fault once again. But there is hope. Finally fed up with being treated so badly, Mother Nature has created a creature whose sole purpose is to wipe out mankind. They are faster, stronger, smarter, better adapters, and more vicious than any other creature now or before, and they want revenge. They have learned the humans' language, what many of their things are called and what they do, and they are preparing an all out counter attack. Everything will be at stake, everyone will remember what the humans have done to them, their kind, and their ancestors. Even the pets will rise up. On one day, at one time, every creature on the face of the planet will seek out the destructive species and eliminate them. This is what happens, when it comes to war. They deserve it.

Seeing as this is a fairly knew site, there won't be very strict rules unless necessary.

General
1. Absolutely no PP or Godmodeling whatsoever. Power Playing is when you play another person's character. Unless they give you specific permission to play their character, and you state this, it is considered illegal. Godmodeling is when you make your character perfect and basically immortal. There is no such thing. I mean, even the armored Panatec can be taken down, and while the Rothen Clar are superior to most, they too can be harmed.

2. What I and other Staff say goes. If you have a problem with something, don't be afraid to message us. We don't bite...too hard

3. Do not put other members down. If you have a problem that can't be resolved by civilized arguing, come talk to me or a Mod and we'll figure it out.

4. Your character must be accepted before you RP with it. Otherwise they will be deleted and you will get a warning.

5. This site allows cussing, but try not to overdo it, especially with things like the F-word and discriminating words. We also allow R rated material, but put a rating in the title so others know whether or not they want to read it.

[X]: Extremely adult.
[R]: 17 and older, depending on maturity.
[PG 13]: 13 and older
[PG]: Mild cussing (ass) and/or very little violence (slaps/kicks).
Below that doesn't need a rating.

6. If you want to make a mythical creature, you must talk to me first. Staff members have a little leeway about it since I made them that position for a reason, but it still has to go through me. Update: Currently, due to no activity whatsoever, every member is allowed one mythical at the moment. Meaning you don't have to be a Staff member to have a mythic.

7. If you want to make one of my own creatures, I will test you greatly to make sure you can play them correctly. I am very strict about these animals because I put a lot into making them, including my soul. I'm being literal. If you are accepted to playing one, especially a Rothen Clar, it is something to be greatly proud of, but don't brag or anything. Even after you've been allowed to RP them, I will monitor how you make them act. They all have different personalities, but there are a few rules they must follow.

8. No chatspeak will be tolerated. This is a literate RP and we expect proper spelling and grammar. If you're unsure of which word to use (i.e. which 'your' or 'there') or don't know if something has an apostrophe ('), there are excellent sources online. Or, just go pick up a spelling and grammar book. I might come along and edit a post where I see mistakes because I'm just a butt about that, but I'll make sure to let you know. Also, please let me know if you see spelling or grammar erros in my own posts or around the site.

Fighting

1. Please be realistic when in IC fighting. A wolf can't take out a bear with complete ease, and a mouse can't take a beating from a cat and hope to live very long. Some animals have more advantage and endurance than others, but all of them are mortal.

2. Do not take a real argument into a post. If it can't be worked out through private messages (without insulting each other and causing emotional damage) it should be brought to me or one of the Mods to be dealt with.

Mating

1. As I've said before, I allow graphic posts. But, as also mentioned before, put a rating in the title and in your post so we know what it is going to be like.

2. Due to new scientific research, some forcebreeding will be allowed. I don't want to see a bunch of posts with it, though, especially if that particular species doesn't exhibit that behavior often.

3. If your character and another person's decides they want to start a family, or just have a little romance, post it in the correct board for this.

Other

1. This is a literate RP, so that means no one-liners. There is a little button at the bottom entitled 'Spell Check'. Use it. And make sure your grammar is at least readable.

2. Because of the content allowed on this site, only those aged 13 and over may join. Unless you PM or email me with a good reason as to why I should let you join, if you're under 13 then you're not allowed. Sorry, but I'm sick and tired of not being able to say what I'm feeling or thinking because of stupid little kids on the sites.

These will be updated when I can think of more things and as the site grows, but I think that's pretty much it.
